Description

St Vincents Majestic, Shire Horse sculpted by Amy Oxenbould and produced in fine bone china by Hereford Fine China. Hereford Fine China ceased trading many years ago. He is 10.5 inches in height including wooden base. He has fabulous detail and beautifully painted in a rich dark bay with subtle dapples. He does have a small firing line on his base at the sides which would have been from the kiln when he was made. He does have loss to some raffia, one on his tail and four on his mane. An easy restoration. He was produced in 1979 and is 474 of 500 pieces which is inscribed under his base.
