Royal Worcester Clydesdale stallion mold sculpted by Doris Lindner and produced in fine bone china by Royal Worcester many years ago as a limited edition of 500 pieces. He is 10.25 inches in height, including wooden base. The original bay colouring has been carefully removed and then he has been custom glazed by The Horse Gallery / Horsing Around. He is now a stunning grey roan sabino – I hope his photos go some way to show just how stunning this guy is. His roan body colouring has been made up of brush stokes to give a highly detailed finish. He has subtle dapples on his quarters, lots of sabino markings and mixed silver and brown tone mane with silver and black tail. His tack is brown with bronze buckles, with mid blue and white decoration on his roller. His mane ribbon is the same mid blue colouring and this is finished off with his raffia in his mane and tail which have whisps of light blue, mixed in with mid blue and white ribbons. He has been finished to a satin glaze that brings all the details and colouring to life. A wonderful horse that is sure to do well in the show ring.
Please note: Being as this piece has been custom painted by Horsing Around / The Horse Gallery it cannot be classed as a genuine Royal Worcester colour way. Any back stamps have either been defaced or removed to reflect this.
