Royal Doulton DA237 Peakstones Lady Margaret, Shire Horse Mare, produced in china by Royal Doulton between 1996 – 1998. She is an impressive 10.75 inches in height. Her original matt black colouring has been carefully removed and she has been custom painted to a stunning dark rose dapple grey. She has lots of detail and rich shading. Her ribbons have been finished in a light blue and dark blue, and her winning rosettes in red, white and gold. She is a gloss glaze which compliments her colouring perfectly. She does come complete with her original china base which is removeable – see photos. A lovely rare horse to add to your collection.
Please note: Being as this piece has been custom painted by Horsing Around / The Horse Gallery it cannot be classed as a genuine Royal Doulton colour way. Any back stamps have either been defaced or removed to reflect this.
